Thoughts……….

As we reflect on the journey of developing our skills, it is clear that God’s word offers profound wisdom and guidance. Each of us is gifted in unique ways, and it’s our mission to cultivate these talents to glorify God. Our skills matter, and the way we use them can shine His light brightly in our lives and the lives of others.

God desires that we grow, flourish, and use our unique gifts to serve others and bring Him glory. How can we honor God with our 

S-K -I-L-L?

S - Seeking wisdom is the foundation of developing our skills. Each skill we refine requires a wise heart to discern how and when to apply what we have learned. Let us look at God’s word  to find encouragement to pursue wisdom, which helps us enhance our abilities and become more effective in fulfilling God’s purposes for our lives. (Proverbs 2:6)

K - Knowledge in mastering our skills requires dedication and commitment. God’s word encourages us to strive for excellence and offers guidance on how to approach our endeavors with diligence. Working hard to improve our skills is not only a personal pursuit but also a way to honor God by maximizing the potential He has given us. (Proverbs 22:29)

I - In our spiritual journey, embracing growth is fundamental. When we decide to grow, we acknowledge that we are a work in progress, shaped and molded by God. His words encourage us to continually seek knowledge and understanding, reminding us that every skill we develop is a tool we can use for the kingdom of God. (Proverbs 1:5)

L - Learning through trials and challenges that test our patience and perseverance. These moments are integral in developing our skills and character. Through our struggles, God often reveals new abilities we never knew we had. When we lean on Him during these tough times, we grow closer to our purpose and strengthen the skills He has given us. 

(James 1:2-3)

L - Living purposely as we develop our skills, we must remember to keep our mission clear. Each talent we cultivate should ultimately serve a higher purpose. God has equipped us with specific abilities that can impact the world around us. When we understand our calling, it empowers us not only to grow but also to positively influence others. (1 Peter 4:10)

PRAYER……..🙏🏼🙏🏼

Father God, I come to You seeking strength and confidence in my abilities. Help me trust the skills You have given me and use them with clarity and purpose. Grant me wisdom, focus, and determination to learn and grow in my abilities. Help me to embrace challenges and to seek opportunities for improvement. May my efforts be fruitful and align with Your plan for my life. Lord, guide me in my endeavors, and remind me that with practice and faith, I can accomplish great things, as You fill me with peace and assurance as I step forward. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
